My Trauma Turned Me into the Best
I am the best.
My trauma put that to the test.
Healing from your trauma, making you better than the rest, as you’re now more aware.
My healing and trauma made me a super star.
Healing from traumatic events means you have dissected events, actions, your re-actions, the potential motives or reasoning behind all actions and emotions.
With my ability to restate what happened is power.
Speaking about it to where it does not affect you or destroy you and re-traumatize you, it will make sense to you.
I was able to focus on my future more than my past.
I speak my story to help others.
When we speak up and out about injustice, the veil I lifted from the taboo.
The secrets done behind closed doors are not a dirty little secret anymore.
It’s now seen.
What you did to me.
The attacker is not allowed to hide anymore.
Speaking out is a peaceful way to even the score.
Stop the secrets.
Stop the shame.
It’s not what we said, it’s what you did.
The more survivors speak out, the more abusers feel unsafe.
The more society is aware so more help can be provided to survivors.
Abusers need help too.
Abusers can be survivors who never healed from childhood abuse.
Speaking publicly, the power of speech can transform your pain into strength and power.
Stop sheltering abusers in a shield of taboo.
The more we speak out about what was done, the more we will see it was done to you, it was done to me.
We are not alone in our pain.
Societies ‘inappropriate’ warnings shield the truth.
More healing and understanding.
Recovery is possible…from anything.
Trauma doesn’t have to stop you.
